Home Visits

 If you have recently welcomed a new baby into your life and are having difficulties with feeding, or simply want help learning more comfortable breastfeeding positions, I offer in-home visits usually within 48 hours of your initial call.  I’m available to support same sex couples with chest feeding / breast feeding.

Includes a written summary of visit details as well as Insurance invoice completed for every appointment.

Each visit lasts approximately

90 minutes

Tongue Tie Assessment

If you are concerned about a possible tongue tie issue with your baby, but don’t know how to proceed, I am able to do a full assessment to help determine if an appointment for a frenotomy is necessary.  Includes an oral and functional assessment and recommendation of next step.

Pumping Consultation

If you are going to need to be separated from your baby and want to optimize pumping success, I can do a home visit that focuses on learning the details of your breast pump as well as how to increase milk collection.  We will discuss ways to avoid clogged ducts and mastitis.   We can explore the best ways to store/ship your milk.  

Private Prenatal Breastfeeding Class

If you are expecting a baby and would like a private breastfeeding class, I offer a 1.5-2hour private session in the comfort of your home or Telehealth. Planning ahead and having a supportive knowledgeable person with whom to ask all of your questions, can alleviate stress when your baby arrives and is ready for that first breastfeeding session.  

Insurance companies often cover the cost of this invaluable experience. 

Back-to-Work Consult

Helpful hints to prepare work site and employer for your return to work.
 

We will discuss: 

  • your morning routine

  • best times to pump throughout your day

  • how to ensure enough milk for provider to give baby without “running out” during the day.  

  • what items you will need in your pumping bag

  • how to feed baby on non-work days

  • anything you are feeling anxious about
